What is this? #

This website is meant to be some kind of mashup between a resume, a portfolio, and somewhere to just keep track of and present some things I’m doing which I think are interesting.

Why is this? #

Because I’ve got too many folders full of half-complete bits of code and some plots whose meaning I’ve forgotten; so, I figure it would be nice to turn those into a bunch of little writeups.

What’s that animation up top? #

That’s a 2D simulation of a Hydogen injected into a Mach 2 crossflow of hot air. It is part of the work I am doing to experiment with simulating high-speed reacting flows using the Glenn Flux Reconstruction code. More information about that project can be found [somewhere eventually].
