Blunted Cone at Mach 5 #
This test case was inspired by the hypersonics course in the spring of 2025. We were learning some analytical methods for estimating shock locations given a geometry, and I realized how easy it would be to turn that code into a mesh generator. So with this type of case in mind, I decided on a few goals for this little project:

Test out my shock capturing scheme with some trong shocks -> Mach 5

Compare the shock location with analytical predictions.

Identify a near-body entropy layer caused by the bow shock.
